King’s Track & Field Invitational

This Saturday, April 18th will be The King’s (High School) Track & Field Invitational at Woolsey Stadium.  (On the CRISTA Campus)

This all day event (starting at 10:30 a.m.) will feature several visiting schools and it looks like a great weekend ahead for this outdoor competition.  We are expecting a good turn out!  School buses will be located down at Mike Martin Gym.  Our 1st Ave gate will be open to allow traffic to utilize that entry/exit.

There are food services on site, shade in the stadium, or grass areas (for that beach blanket) so feel welcome to come and spend the day viewing some great High School Track & Field!

King’s Events – February 13th and 18th

Grandparents Day

This coming Friday, February 13th, King’s Elementary will be hosting their annual Grand Parents Day, starting at 8 a.m. till noon.

This is a popular event and typically brings with it heavier parking and traffic demand on N 195th and Dayton Ave. N.  Please make a note of it.

Blood Drive

This coming Wednesday, February 18th from 8 a.m. -1:45 p.m., the King’s High School National Honor Society will be sponsoring an annual blood drive.  The bloodmobile will be located on King’s Garden Drive and is available for neighbors use, as well.

Every week several hundred units of blood are needed in the Puget Sound area.  Each unit of blood collected makes a difference in the lives of two people in need.  The donation procedure requires about 45 minutes and includes a health check, giving blood, and refreshments after donating.

To make an appointment please email nwhite@kingsschools.org or call the high school office at 206-546-7241.

Be a hero and save a life!

Thank you.
